Your real address stays yours
Give every shop and sign-up an address of its own that runs out when you say. Take a message back in the seconds after you send it, or have it go out tomorrow at nine.
- Undo send and scheduled send. Take a message back for up to 30 seconds after you press Send. Or pick a time, and it goes out from our server even if your computer is off.
- Rules, auto-reply and forwarding. Rules run on our server, so they sort mail even when Viremail is closed. Set an out-of-office reply with a first and last day.
- Works on a train. Recent mail stays readable offline. Anything you send waits in an outbox, and reading, starring, moving and deleting are saved, as soon as you are back online.
Pinglar and calls
Chat and calls, without another app
Talk one to one or in groups of up to 256, with voice messages, threads and files of any size. Read and answer your email here too, one chat per person. Start a call from any chat, or send a link anyone can join from a browser.
- Groups of up to 256. Invite people directly or with a link and QR code that can expire, work once, or wait for an admin. Owners and admins decide who can post, pin and add people.
- Your email as chats. Email threads in the sidebar list everyone who emails you, one row per person, in Primary, General, Updates and Spam, plus Promotions, Social, Requests and your own folders. Open a person to read your emails as a chat, as plain text with nothing loading from outside, and press Enter to reply with a real email, with Undo.
- Group threads (Following), mentions and pins. Reply in a thread to keep a side conversation out of the way, and find the ones you follow under Following. Mention someone with @, pin what matters, and see who has read your message.
Calendar
Let people book the time that suits you
A booking page with only your free times, polls that find a time for the whole group, and a video call link on every event you make.
- A video call on every event. Add video call puts a call link on the invitation, so there is no separate meeting service to set up.
- Polls anyone can answer. Included with Viremail Business. Ask a group a question and watch the answers come in live. People can vote from the link without an account.
- Invitations that keep up. Invite anyone by email. Their replies update the event, and moving or cancelling it tells them.
Tasks for teams
Boards that take requests and do the busywork
Link a form to a board, turn emails and pings into tasks, let rules move and assign the work, and get sign-off on the exact version of a file. Then plan it all on a real timeline.
- Requests from a form. Each response becomes a task, and the person who asked gets a private page to see where it is and reply.
- Boards in every view. Board, List, Calendar and Timeline views, with roles for each person, saved filters, My tasks across boards and charts in Insights.
- Sprints, timelines and the critical path. Subtasks, epics and sprints with burndown and velocity. Link tasks four ways, see what decides the finish date, and compare against a saved baseline.

Everything you make sits in Drive next to your files, encrypted on our servers. Several people can edit at once, and DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files open straight in.
- Everyone in the same Write doc. See each person's cursor and name as they type. It saves as you go, and keeps working when the connection drops.
- Comments and suggestions. Discuss a sentence with @mentions, or switch to Suggesting so changes wait for an editor to accept them.
- Version history. Name a version to keep a milestone, preview any earlier one, and restore it without losing newer text.

Quick notes, lists and photos that live in your mailbox
- Checklists you tick from the card. Ticked items fold away at the bottom and the card shows how many are done, without opening the note.
- Labels, colours and pins. Group notes by topic, filter by checklists, images or colour, and keep the important ones pinned at the top.
People
One address book for mail, Pinglar and calls
- Share your address book. Let an assistant look people up in your address book, or keep it up to date for you. They accept first, and you see everything they changed.
- Import with a preview. Bring in up to 10,000 contacts from vCard, CSV or LDIF files. See a preview first, and choose to skip, merge or keep people you already have.

End-to-end encrypted email
OpenPGP is built in. Mail to anyone with a public key is encrypted in your browser, and only they can read it. Your private key is encrypted with your password before it reaches us.
Passkeys
Sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN. Passkeys cannot be phished or guessed, and we only keep their public keys.
Two-step verification
Codes from an authenticator app, single-use backup codes, and devices you choose to trust for 30 days.
Shield
Checks incoming mail for phishing, look-alike links and risky attachments, and warns you in plain words before you open them.

What is Viremail?
Viremail is a private email, chat and calling service. One account includes Mail, Pinglar chat, voice and video calls, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, People, Leads, a Vault for passwords, Drive and the office apps Write, Grid, Deck and Forms. The desktop app adds Krodium, Clipboard history and System. Viremail Business adds Billing, Rota, Pintas for designs and Launch for landing pages.
Is Viremail free?
Yes. A personal account costs nothing and there are no ads. Business accounts, with mailboxes on your own domain, are paid.
What is Pinglar?
Pinglar is the chat app inside Viremail, on the same account. A message in Pinglar is called a ping. You can chat with one person or a group, send pings, voice notes and files, share stories and start a voice or video call from any chat.
Do I need another app for video meetings?
No. Calls are built into Viremail. You can share a call link, hold a group call with up to 8 people, and guests can join from the link in their browser without creating an account.
Can my team plan work in Viremail?
Yes. Tasks gives you shared boards with Board, List, Calendar and Timeline views. A board can take requests through a form, and any email or ping can become a task, and rules, approvals, sprints and timesheets are built in.
Can I write, work with numbers and make slides in Viremail?
Yes. Write makes Write docs, Grid makes Grids for tables, numbers and charts, Deck makes Decks of slides, and Forms makes forms and quizzes. Several people can edit the same file at once, and you can open and save DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files. Everything you make is kept in Drive with your other files.
What is a disposable email address?
It is a second address you give to shops, trials and forms instead of your real one. You choose how long it lasts, from 1 hour to 1 year. Mail sent to it arrives in your normal inbox, and once it expires or you turn it off, that sender cannot reach you.
Is my email end-to-end encrypted?
Email can be. Viremail has OpenPGP built in, so mail to people who have a public key is encrypted in your browser and only they can read it. Mail to people without a key is sent as normal email.
Are Pinglar chats end-to-end encrypted?
Yes, once you and the people you talk to turn on encryption in Settings, Encryption. Messages, photos and files are then encrypted on your device before they are sent, and only the people in the chat hold the keys to read them. Each chat shows whether it is end-to-end encrypted. Stories, polls and reactions are not.
Can I sign in without a password?
Yes. You can add a passkey and sign in with your fingerprint, face or phone. Two-step verification with an authenticator app is also available.
Does Viremail work on my phone?
Yes. Viremail runs in any modern browser and installs like an app on iPhone, Android, Windows and macOS.
Can I bring my contacts and old mail?
Yes. You can import contacts from iPhone, Google or Outlook, and bring your existing mail over from another provider.
