AI connectors: Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your email, and approve what it sends
AI connectors let an AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT use the parts of your Viremail account you allow, after you approve it in Viremail.
What you get
Works with Claude and ChatGPT
Add Viremail as a connector in the AI app, approve it in Viremail, and ask about your email, calendar, contacts, files, tasks and notes.
You choose what it sees
Pick the account and untick anything you would rather not share. Apps Viremail has not checked get a warning first and can only read and save drafts.
Nothing is sent until you approve it
When an app wants to send an email or an invitation, you get a notification and see exactly who it goes to and what it says. Send or decline; after 30 minutes it is cancelled.
Drafts, events, docs and tasks
Let it save email drafts, add events, create Write docs and add or update tasks. It can never delete anything or send files.
Your private things stay private
Your Vault, Vire chats, encrypted email, mailboxes others shared with you and your Trash are out of reach. Reading never marks email as read.
Tricks in email are marked
Text from emails and files reaches the AI marked as someone else’s words, with hidden text taken out, so it is read as information and not obeyed.
Disconnect any time
Settings shows each app, what it may do, what it did and how it may send. Disconnect ends its access at once and cancels anything waiting.
