Mail is the email app in Viremail: your own address, with the tools that keep it private and your inbox calm.
What you get
Disposable addresses
Give shops and sign-up forms an address that lasts from one hour to one year. Mail to it lands in your Inbox with a label, and once it is off, that sender cannot reach you.
Undo send and scheduled send
Take a message back for up to 30 seconds after you press Send. Or pick a time, and it goes out from our server even if your computer is off.
A calmer inbox
Primary, Promotions, Social and Updates keep people on top. The Subscriptions view lists every newsletter that writes to you, with one-click unsubscribe.
Rules, auto-reply and forwarding
Rules run on our server, so they sort mail even when Viremail is closed. Set an out-of-office reply with a first and last day.
Works on a train
Recent mail stays readable offline. Anything you send waits in an outbox and goes as soon as you are back online.
New mail, wherever you are
Busy in Tasks or a Grid? New mail still shows up as a small notice, and the unread count on the app icon stays right.
Turn an email into a task
Add to Tasks makes a task from a message, with its text and files, or adds it to a task you already have. The email then shows where the task is up to.
Bring your old mail
Copy mail from your old provider and keep it in sync while people move over to your new address.
Up to five accounts
Sign in to work and home side by side and switch without signing out. Each tab remembers its own account.
Questions and answers
Can I read my Viremail in another email app?
Yes. Create an app password in Settings, Security and use it in any app that speaks IMAP and SMTP. Your calendar and contacts sync the same way over CalDAV and CardDAV.
What happens to mail sent to a disposable address after it runs out?
It bounces. Once an address expires or you turn it off, mail to it is turned away and never reaches your Inbox. You can have up to 25 active at once.
