Logo
The mark and the name together. This is the one to use first, wherever there is room for it.
Mark
The mark on its own, for app icons, profile pictures and small spaces where the name would not be read.
Clear space and size
- Clear space. Half the height of the mark on every side. Keep text, edges and other logos out of it.
- Smallest size. The full logo at 20 pixels high on screens (6 mm in print). The mark alone at 16 pixels.
- Backgrounds. Use the light version on white or pale backgrounds and the dark version on black or deep colours.
- The name. Write it as Viremail, with a capital V, in running text. The logo itself is lower case. The chat app is called Vire.

Type
Inter
Everything is set in Inter, a free typeface under the SIL Open Font Licence. The wordmark and headings use bold (700) with the letters drawn slightly closer together; text uses regular (400) and semibold (600).

Describing Viremail
In one line
Viremail is a private email, chat and calling app. It has no ads and supports passkeys and end-to-end encrypted email.
In a paragraph or two
Viremail is a private email, chat and calling service. One account gives you Mail, Vire (chat), voice and video calls, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Contacts, and Drive with the office apps Write, Grid, Deck and Collect, in an app that runs in the browser and installs on phones and computers. It has no ads, blocks email tracking pixels, and supports passkeys and end-to-end encrypted email with OpenPGP.
Mail includes disposable addresses that expire on their own, scheduled send, undo send, rules and a spam and phishing filter called Shield. Vire is the built-in chat app for one-to-one and group conversations of up to 256 people, with voice messages, files and stories. Calls work in the browser, with shareable call links, group calls of up to 8 people and guests who can join from a link without an account.
Tasks gives teams shared boards that turn Collect forms, emails and Vire messages into tasks, with rules, approvals and planning built in. Calendar includes a booking page and group scheduling.
