A Viremail account and a domain you can change the DNS for, usually where you bought it. You add one record to prove the domain is yours, then the mail records, and create mailboxes.

Adding the records takes a few minutes. Most changes show within minutes and some take up to an hour. The page checks for you and shows each record as Found once it is right.

No. You run the business from your own account, which stays personal and private. The mailboxes you create on your domain belong to the business.

No. Mail keeps going to your old provider until you change the MX record, and we ask you to confirm before that. People can copy their old mail across first.

$12 per person a month on the monthly plan, or $10 a month on the yearly plan, billed as $120 a year. Prices are in US dollars, plus tax where it applies.

Yes. Your first mailbox is free for 30 days, and you do not need a card to start. If you pick a plan during that month, it starts when the free month ends.

Each person with a mailbox on your domain uses one seat. Up to 5 shared mailboxes, such as support@, and admins from outside your company are free.

Adding a seat charges only for the rest of the current period. On a monthly plan, removing one leaves a credit on your next invoice. On a yearly plan, fewer seats apply from your renewal.

Yes, in the app, with no call or email needed. Everything keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund part periods, except where the law says we must.

Yes, once it opens: $8 a month, or $96 a year on a yearly plan, on top of your seats. Your page at viremail.com/your-name is included.

We email you and retry the payment. After 14 days you cannot add mailboxes, after 30 days people cannot sign in but mail keeps arriving, and nothing is deleted for 180 days. Paying restores everything.

The app and its database are hosted in France, in the EU, and mail is stored in the United Kingdom. Both are servers we run with our hosting provider.

Not quietly. An admin can only reach a mailbox by resetting its password, which signs the person out and tells them, or through access the person was given. Both are recorded.

No. There are no ads, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising. Our systems read mail only to deliver it, filter spam and search it for you.

Your business is. You decide what the page says and you are the controller of what is on it. We host it, check it against our Acceptable Use Policy and act on reports. If we hide or remove a page, we tell you why and how to appeal.

Yes. For a business, you are the controller of your team’s data and we process it for you. Our Data Processing Addendum sets out the terms, and the sub-processors are listed with it.

Business analytics, coming soon, show counts and times, such as mail sent or time active in Viremail. They never show what anyone wrote, and they stay off until you set up monitoring and your staff have seen a notice.

Location is an optional policy, coming soon. It is off by default, works only while Viremail is open, needs a notice first, and is deleted after 30 days unless you choose otherwise.

Clocking in and out is a working time record the law asks employers to keep, so it needs no monitoring setup. The optional location and network checks at clock-in are monitoring: they start only after you publish your monitoring notice, and take one point per clock action, never a trail.

Yes. Before anything is collected, each person sees a notice listing exactly what is recorded, who can see it and for how long, and they can see their own figures.

Each person can copy their mail across now, if their old account lets mail apps sign in with a password or an app password, and contacts come in from a file. A tool to move a whole team at once is coming.

Yes. Viremail works in any browser, on phones and as a desktop app, and standard mail apps such as Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird can connect too.
