No tracking pixels
Pictures from outside an email are blocked until you choose to show them, so senders cannot see when you open their mail.
Questions and answers
Does the blue shield mean a message is safe?
It means the message really comes from the organisation named, not from someone using its name. It does not check what the message says, so still take care with links and requests for money or passwords.
