Disconnect an AI app
End an app’s access to your account straight away.
Open Settings, AI and connected apps and choose Disconnect next to the app. If you connected more than one, Disconnect all ends every one of them.
When an app is disconnected:
- it loses access straight away, and its sign-in stops working;
- anything it was waiting to send is cancelled, so nothing goes out;
- the password Viremail made for it is deleted.
You can connect it again later from the app.
Apps are also disconnected when you sign out everywhere, when you change your password and sign out other devices, when you reset your password, and when an app has not been used for 60 days. Each connection is listed in Settings, Security under App passwords too, and deleting it there disconnects the app as well.
What it already read or sent is not undone: what the app received is kept by the company behind it, under its own terms.
