Your inbox can sort incoming mail into four categories so the messages from real people stay on top:
- Primary: people you know and anything that does not fit elsewhere.
- Promotions: offers, deals and marketing.
- Social: messages from social networks and communities.
- Updates: receipts, bills, confirmations and notifications.
If a message lands in the wrong place, move it and future mail from that sender will follow.
The subscriptions view lists the newsletters and mailing lists that write to you, so you can see what you are signed up to and unsubscribe in one place.
