Search your mail
Find messages quickly with search operators.
Type in the search box at the top, or press / to jump to it. Search looks in the folder you are in.
You can narrow a search with these operators:

to:[email protected] | Messages sent to that address |
subject:invoice | Words in the subject line |
is:unread | Unread messages |
is:read | Read messages |
is:starred | Starred messages |
has:attachment | Messages with attachments |
"exact phrase" | Words in that order |
Combine them freely, for example from:anna has:attachment report.
The All, Unread and Starred tabs above the list are a quick way to filter without typing.
