What workspace admins can seeNew

Admins see who can open what for each member, and can remove access. They can never add it to your own things.

When you join a workspace, its owner and admins can open the Users tab of the admin console. For each member it shows:

  • who they shared their folders, files, Write docs, Grids, Decks, Collect forms and boards with (also people outside the workspace),
  • what other members shared with them, and the workspace's own boards they are on,
  • the name of each item, the role and the date.

Admins cannot see:

  • what is inside your files, docs or boards through this page,
  • your activity, such as what you opened or when,
  • things people outside the workspace shared with you,
  • your mail or your Vire chats.

Admins can remove anyone’s access. On boards that belong to the workspace they can also change roles. On your own things they can never give anyone access, or more access than you gave.

Every time an admin looks at a member’s sharing or changes it, the workspace audit log records who did it and when. If an admin removes access to something of yours, it shows in that item’s history.

Only people who have joined the workspace are included. An invitation you have not accepted gives the workspace no view of your sharing.
