Connect Stripe
Sign in to Stripe and approve Viremail. We keep only your account id, never your keys.
- In Business, open your business, then Connections.
- Choose Connect Stripe and enter your password.
- Stripe opens. Sign in, or make a Stripe account, and approve Viremail.
- Stripe brings you back to Connections, which says Connected once Stripe has switched on payments for your account.
If you started in the desktop app, Stripe opens in your browser. Sign in to Viremail there with the same address if it asks, and connecting finishes by itself.
What Viremail can and can't do
- We keep only your Stripe account id. We never see or keep your Stripe password or your secret keys.
- Viremail makes the payment page for an invoice when your customer chooses Pay, reads whether it was paid, and makes refunds you ask for in Billing.
- Your payouts, disputes and settings stay in your own Stripe dashboard.
Disconnect
Choose Disconnect in Connections. Payment pages still open are closed, and our access is removed in Stripe. You can also remove Viremail in your Stripe dashboard (Settings, Connected apps); Connections then shows Stripe as disconnected and your admins are told.
Almost there means Stripe has not switched on payments for your account yet. Finish the steps Stripe asks for in its dashboard, then choose Check.
