Set up end-to-end encryption
Create your OpenPGP key in a couple of clicks.
End-to-end encryption means only you and the people you write to can read the message. Not even we can.
- Open Settings, Security and find End-to-end encryption.
- Choose Set up and enter your account password.
That is it. A key pair is created in your browser. The private half is locked with your account password before it is stored, so it only ever opens on your own devices.
Already have an OpenPGP key? Choose Import an existing key and paste it. The key must include your address, and if it has a passphrase, it must match your account password.
