Read newsletters in the Feed, and clean up sendersNew
A calm place for newsletters, and one-click clean-up of old mail.
The Feed is a quiet reading column for newsletters. Their issues arrive there instead of your Inbox, one after another, and are marked read as you scroll past them.
- In Subscriptions, open the menu next to a sender and choose Read in Feed. On a newsletter you are reading, choose Read their mail in the Feed in its menu.
- Mail already in your Inbox from that sender moves to the Feed at once.
- In the Feed, Senders lists who is there and can send you a short note once a day or once a week when something new arrives.
Clean up a sender. In Subscriptions, or from the menu of any email, choose:
- Keep only the latest: older mail from them moves to Trash.
- Delete all from this sender: everything from them in your Inbox, Archive and Feed moves to Trash.
- Clear anything older than a number of days, and keep doing it every night.
Starred and pinned mail is never touched. Right after a clean-up you can select Undo.
