Take requests with a Collect form
Each response becomes a task, and the person who asked can follow it.
Link a Collect form to a board and every response becomes a task.
- In the board menu, choose Requests and email, then the Request forms tab.
- Choose Link a Collect form and pick a form you can edit. You can also start from Collect: in the form's Results, choose Send to a board.
- Build the task title from answers, choose the column, people, labels, priority and due date, and map answers to custom fields.
- Add routes to send requests to the right place, for example "If *What is this about?* is *A problem*, add the label Bug".
If the form collects an email address, the person who answered gets a confirmation and a private status page. It shows a friendly stage (Received, In progress, Done), the messages you send them, and a box to reply. It never shows your comments, your column names or other tasks.
Under Status page you choose what each column is called for requesters and which columns send them an update. People can turn updates off from their page. When someone edits their response, the task updates and says so.
Responses are always kept in Collect. A board takes up to 500 a day from each form by default; you can change this.
