Private notes and Discuss in VireNew
Keep a note on a conversation, or talk it through with your team.
A note on a conversation. In an open conversation, choose Add a note in the ⋯ menu. The note sits under the subject, saves as you type and shows on every message of that conversation, including replies that arrive later. Only you can see it. Conversations with a note have a small note mark in the list, and you can search with has:note or note:word. Keep in Notes also puts a copy in Notes, with a link back.
Discuss in Vire. Choose Discuss in Vire in the menu and pick a person or a group. Before you share, Mail tells you exactly what they will see: this email's text, who sent it and to whom, the date, and the attachments you tick. They never see your mailbox or other emails. The email lands in the chat as a card they can open, read only.
Replies from the chat show beside the email under Discussed in Vire, with a box to answer right there. The shared copy stays in the chat even if you delete the email later. Links in an email that looks unsafe are turned off in the copy.
