Billing: set it up

Included with Viremail Business. Your details on invoices, tax rates, numbering, what you sell and where invoices are sent from.

Billing is where your business keeps its orders, invoices and payments. It sits on the app bar after Fields, for businesses where Billing is switched on.

Billing is in early access for Viremail Business. If you don't see it yet, it will appear when it is switched on for your business.

Set it up once (owners and admins)

  1. In Business, Profile, Invoices and tax, choose your country, check the legal name and address for invoices, and add your tax numbers: a VAT number, GSTIN, ABN or EIN. Your country and tax numbers decide which tax rules your invoices follow.
  2. In the same place, add your bank details. They are printed on invoices and on each invoice's page, kept encrypted, and never shown on your public business page.
  3. In Billing, Settings, Tax rates, choose Add the usual rates for your country, then check them against your registration. You can add your own.
  4. Still in Settings, check the numbering. The next number is previewed as you type. Moving from another tool? Set the first number before you issue anything.
  5. In Billing, Catalogue, add what you sell with its price and tax rate. If you have a booking page, Add booking services brings your services in.
  6. Under Send invoices from, choose one of your business mailboxes, such as accounts@yourdomain. See Share an invoice.
