Leads and your clients’ privacy
How lead details are protected, how long they are kept, and how to answer a request to delete them.
The people in your Leads are your clients, and their details are yours to look after. Viremail keeps them for you and doesn't use them for anything else.
How they're protected
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes and the details of each booking or message are encrypted on our servers.
- Only you can see your leads. Nobody else with a Viremail account can open them, and they're never shared or used for advertising.
How long they're kept
A lead is deleted for good when there has been no activity for a while. Activity is a booking, a change, a note, a new stage or anything else on their history. Choose how long in Leads settings:

Closing your Viremail account deletes all your leads straight away.
When someone asks about their data
- To see what you hold: open their lead and choose the download button. You get one file with their details and their whole history.
- To be forgotten: open their lead and choose Delete. The lead and its history are removed for good. If you also saved them as a contact, delete the contact in Contacts too.
