Timesheets, billable time and ratesNew
Fill in your week, submit it for approval, and turn approved time into a Grid for invoices.
In Time, My week shows every task with time this week. Type hours in any cell, like 1:30 or 1.5, add a row for another task, mark rows as billable or not, and add a note. Time from the timer shows up too, split at midnight.
Suggestions from Calendar looks at your own events for the week. An event that mentions a task key like OPS-12, links to a task, or matches one of your keyword rules becomes a one-click entry.
Submit week sends it to the admins of each board. They approve it or send it back with a note under Approvals. Your own week is always approved by someone else when the board has another admin; on a workspace board with no other admin, add one, unless the workspace lets a sole admin approve their own time. Approved weeks are locked and keep the rate they were approved at; an admin can reopen one. A task with approved time, or time waiting for approval, can be archived but not deleted, so billed time stays on record.
Board admins set hourly rates under Rates: one for the board and, if needed, one per person, each from a start date. Reports totals time by board, person or task, with amounts in each currency kept apart. Open in Grid puts the rows in a new Grid with date, person, task, hours, rate and amount. Tick Keep the Grid updated and newly approved time is added to it. Rounding each entry up to 6 or 15 minutes is set in the board’s Planning settings.
