Big files and Drive in VireNew
Send files of any size, and share Write docs, Grids, Decks and Collect forms as live cards.
Big files
A file over 25 MB goes through Drive. It's uploaded to Vire files in your Drive, in a folder named after the chat, and the Vire gets a card people can open. It counts towards your Drive storage.
Share from Drive
Choose +, then From Drive, pick up to 10 items, and choose what the people in the Vire can do: View, Comment or Edit. A link to a Write doc, Grid, Deck or Collect form that you paste into a message becomes a live card too.
A card shows the name, who owns it, when it was last changed and who has it open right now. If some people in the chat can't open it yet, you see how many and can give them access in one tap. Someone who can't open a card can choose Ask for access, and the owner gets a note.
Access follows the chat
Access you give through a Vire belongs to that Vire. When someone leaves or is removed from a group, they lose it, while access you gave them directly in Drive stays. Admins can set a group to Share Drive files posted here with members automatically.
Every photo and file in a Vire also has Save to Drive in its menu.
