Screen new senders, and VIP alertsNew
Decide who reaches your Inbox, and who always gets through.
With Screen new senders on, mail from someone you have never written to, who is not in your Contacts and not on your allowed list, waits under Requests in the mail sidebar instead of your Inbox. It is off until you turn it on in Requests.
For each new sender you can choose:

| Block | Their mail goes to Spam from now on, and what they sent moves to Trash |
Some mail always gets through: replies to mail you sent, calendar invitations, and (unless you turn it off) sign-in codes and receipts from addresses such as noreply or billing. You can also set a pass word: anyone who puts it in the subject line gets through.
Screening runs on the mail server, so it works in every mail app and while Viremail is closed. Turning it off lets new mail into your Inbox again; anything already waiting stays in Requests until you let it in.
VIPs. Add people as VIPs in Requests, on the VIPs tab, or open one of their emails and choose Make (their name) a VIP in the message menu. Their new mail is marked as VIP in notifications, is never screened, and can reach you during quiet hours. Turn on Notify me only for VIPs to hear only from them; other mail still arrives quietly.
