Photos, files, stickers, GIFs and pingsNew
Share more than words in a Vire.
Send photos, videos and files up to 25 MB each, up to 10 at a time:
- choose + next to the message box,
- drag files onto the conversation, or
- paste an image straight into the message box.
Files are stored encrypted and only the two of you can open them. Deleting a message for everyone removes its files too.
The smiley button opens emoji, our own stickers, and GIFs. GIFs come from your own device: we do not use an outside GIF service.
A ping gives the other person's window a little shake and a short sound. Find it under +. You can ping once every 20 seconds.
When you send a link, Vire shows its title and a short description. Our server fetches it, so the site never sees your address.
