Booking page insights

See how many people open your booking page, how many book, and where they came from. No cookies.

Open Calendar, Booking page and choose the Insights tab.

  • Pick 7 days, 30 days or 90 days, and one service or all of them.
  • The tiles show Visits to your page, Bookings, Conversion (bookings for each visit), Cancellations and No-shows.
  • The chart has a bar for each day in your time zone: the light part is visits, the solid part is bookings. Point at a day to see its numbers.
  • The table shows each service: how many people opened it, how many saw its free times, booked, cancelled or didn't show up.
  • Sites people came from lists the websites with a link to your page, by name only (say, linkedin.com). Campaigns lists the name after utm_source in your link, so /book/your-name?utm_source=newsletter shows as "newsletter".

What is counted

  • A visit when your page opens, once for each time it is loaded.
  • A view when someone opens a service, and once more when its free times show.
  • Bookings, cancellations, moves and no-shows, counted by the server when they happen.

Privacy

  • Your booking page uses no cookies for this, and saves nothing on visitors' devices for it: no local storage and no identifier of any kind.
  • Only daily totals are kept. Nothing identifies a visitor: there is no IP address, no browser fingerprint and no per-person record, so the same person visiting twice counts as two visits.
  • For where people came from, only the site's name is kept, never the full address of the page they were on.
  • Programs such as search engine robots and link previews are left out, and so are your own visits to your page while you're signed in.
  • Counts are kept for 13 months, then deleted.
Some people block these counts, and bookings are always counted, so conversion can read a little high.
