Connect Razorpay
Paste your Razorpay API keys, then add one webhook in Razorpay so payments mark invoices paid.
Razorpay suits businesses in India: customers can pay with UPI, cards, net banking and wallets.
1. Your API keys
- In your Razorpay dashboard, open Account and settings, API keys and make a key.
- In Business, open Connections, choose Enter Razorpay keys, and paste the key id and key secret.
- Enter your password and choose Check and connect. We check the keys with Razorpay and keep the secret encrypted. Nobody can see it again, including you.
2. The webhook
Viremail then shows a webhook address and a secret, once.
- In Razorpay, open Account and settings, Webhooks and choose Add new webhook.
- Paste the address and the secret.
- Tick payment_link.paid, payment_link.partially_paid, payment_link.expired, payment_link.cancelled and refund.processed, then save.
Connections says Connected once the first message from Razorpay arrives. Until the webhook is added, payments are still picked up, within the hour.
Lost the secret? In Connections choose Webhook, Make a new secret, then paste it into the webhook in Razorpay.
Remove the keys
Choose Remove keys in Connections. Open payment pages are cancelled and the keys are deleted. You can then delete the webhook in Razorpay.
Test first: while Viremail runs payments in test mode, use your rzp_test_ keys and Razorpay's test cards and UPI ids.
