The command bar: Ctrl or Cmd + KNew
One box to jump anywhere, search and get things done.
Press Ctrl + K (or Cmd + K on a Mac) anywhere in Viremail to open the command bar. On a phone, press and hold a search field or search button.
Start typing to:
- Go to any app, or to Snoozed, Files, Feed, Requests and Receipts and trips.
- Search your mail, your Drive files and the people you write to.
- Do things: write an email, make a new Write doc, Grid, Deck or Collect form, snooze or pin the open conversation, add it to Tasks, start a Discuss in Vire, and more.
Each action shows its keyboard shortcut, so you learn them as you go. Use the arrow keys and Enter, or click.
In Write and Grid, Ctrl + K adds a link. There, open the command bar with Ctrl + Shift + K (or Cmd + Shift + K).
